Saudi Salary Calculator: Net Pay After GOSI and Saned (2026 Guide)
Understanding your salary in Saudi Arabia means knowing exactly how GOSI social insurance and Saned unemployment deductions affect your take-home pay. Our free Saudi Salary Calculator helps you calculate this instantly.
What is GOSI?
GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) is Saudi Arabia's mandatory social insurance system. For Saudi nationals, 9.75% of your gross salary (capped at SAR 45,000/month) is deducted for pension, disability, and death benefits. Your employer contributes an additional 9.75%. For non-Saudi employees, only the employer pays 2% for occupational hazards.
What is Saned?
Saned is the unemployment insurance program for Saudi nationals only. A 1% deduction (capped at SAR 15,000/month) is taken from your salary, with your employer matching another 1%. It provides up to 60% of your registered salary for up to 12 months if you lose your job involuntarily.
How to Calculate Net Salary
Net Salary = Gross Salary - GOSI - Saned. Example: SAR 15,000 gross for a Saudi national = 15,000 - (15,000 x 9.75% = 1,462.50) - (15,000 x 1% = 150) = SAR 13,387.50 net. Non-Saudis: no deductions from salary, so net = gross.
Why No Income Tax?
Saudi Arabia has zero personal income tax on salaries for both nationals and expats. This makes it one of the most attractive destinations for tax-free income. Use our Saudi Salary Calculator to plan your finances.
